The fourth round of the Norwegian National Cup was held on Sunday, 10th December. The track was 600m2 with extremely high grip and many tricky combinations.
After I had won the first three rounds, everyone was wondering if the 12 year old boy, Adrian Berntsen, was finally going to be able to take his first win over me. He is an absolute "up and comer" in Norway, and took TQ at the last race, but his lack of experience resulted in many mistakes in the finals.

In the first qualifying, Adrian was in a league of his own, with me in second place almost 10 seconds behind him. My car was traction rolling in every corner. I tried everything with my car, and the trick was glue on the side of the front tire. The car was finally working well, but Adrian was still faster in qualifying. He TQâ™d 1.06 sec ahead of me.

In the finals everyone wondered if Adrian would take his first win, and he led from start-to-finish in the first final. I hit a curb in the first corner, then had to battle with Trygve Berntsen, Adrians dad, for second place.
In the second final, I went by Adrian in the first corner and after leading the final with a couple of seconds, I made a mistake that put Adrian into the lead again. He was in the lead until the last lap, were he rolled and I got contacted again. Two turns later I made a perfect passing move on him and won the final with a 1 second lead.
In the third final Adrian had changed tires and my charging had stopped. Adrian started traction rolling and since I drove with a brushless system , I managed to drive the final and secure the win. I was leading this final from start to the finish line.
The carpet we were driving on was the same carpet to be used in the Nordic Winter Race (NWR) here in Norway. We hope that as many drivers as possible will take the time to enter this race. And maybe that will be the race were Adrian will finally get his win. Who knows?
